Ray Mitchell

A position he has held with distinction for several years. Alongside his wife Karen, Ray is also the host of the World Prayer Center’s First Watch program, a dynamic prayer initiative that seeks to connect believers across the globe in prayer and worship. 

Ray has had a varied career in ministry, having served in a variety of roles ranging from large churches to homeless shelters. His commitment to serving others has been the hallmark of his ministry, and he has inspired countless individuals to pursue a deeper relationship with God.

Ray holds a Master’s degree in Ministry from Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Oklahoma. His educational background has given him a solid foundation for his work in ministry, and he has always sought to apply his knowledge and skills in practical ways that have a real impact on people’s lives.

Ray’s passion for service extends beyond his work in the ministry. He has also served his country for over 30 years, having been involved in various military assignments during his career. His dedication to serving his country and his fellow citizens is a testament to his character and his deep sense of purpose.

Karent Mitchell is a devoted wife, teacher, and co-host of the World Prayer Center First Watch program. She has been married to her husband Ray Mitchell since 2017, and together they share a passion for spreading the word of God and helping others through their ministry work. 

Karent’s teaching abilities are exceptional, and she has used her talents to teach Spanish to preschool and elementary students in the Dominican Republic for over 20 years. Her dedication to her students and her ability to connect with them on a personal level has made her a beloved figure in the community.

In addition to her teaching work, Karent has also co-led a Saturday Christian Children and Youth bible class at her home in the Dominican Republic since 2008. Through this program, she has helped countless young people grow in their faith and develop a deeper understanding of God’s love and grace.

As a co-host of the World Prayer Center First Watch program, Karent brings her unique insights and teaching abilities to a wider audience. Her dedication to spreading the word of God and helping others is an inspiration to all who know her, and she continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
